There’s only one way to get better at playing an
instrument. I had to do it. You had to do it. And now you’ve got to find some way of getting
you students to do it.
Yep. It’s time for that talk.
Practice.
But, I hear you cry, my
students will be so motivated by my wonderful, inspiring lessons that they will
not want to stop practicing.
Hear that? It’s the
sound of my trying to suppress my gales of laughter.
I don’t care how amazing a teacher you are. You’re gonna get kids who don’t practice.
So, what can you do about it?
